Inspirations From Childhood

"Look what Flew into my Window": The Swan-Snake-Dragon within the DNA of Summer's Colour

© 1996 to 1997 (2009) Text By Eve Damie

The work in question is a hanging mobile.  It was created from the memory of a song I sang as a child. It is a children’s song called “Puff the Magic Dragon” by Peter, Paul and Mary. In general it is about a magic dragon named puff who befriends a little boy.
The friendship only lasts as long as the fleeting years of childhood. This was my favorite song as a child and I always wanted to have a dragon friend.
